Yankees 2025 Minors had trouble keeping up with Phillies in a 12-4 loss on Monday at Wrigley.
Phillies were the first to get on the board in the first when Paul T doubled, scoring two runs.
Phillies scored five runs on one hit in the top of the third inning. Matthew M was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Michael S drew a walk, scoring one run, Paul T doubled, scoring two runs, and Anthony M drew a walk, scoring one run.
Phillies scored two runs in the top of the fifth on an inside the park home run by Paul T.
Benjamin B started the game for Yankees 2025 Minors. The hurler gave up four hits and six runs (four earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out four and walking three.

North Shore Giants-Fiordalisi 11U built a 4-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Eastern As 11U’s charge for an 8-7 victory on Monday. Eastern As 11U closed the gap by scoring on a single and a single.

Rays – NS Majors Spring opened the scoring in the first after Thomas F grounded out, scoring one run.
Yankees flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs on two hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by H that drove in two.
Yankees added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Jake doubled down the right field line, B tripled down the right field line, and Rays – NS Majors Spring committed an error, each scoring one run.
H led things off on the mound for Yankees. The pitcher allowed two hits and one run over two innings, striking out two and walking none.
