    The Tigers wasted no time getting on the board. In the bottom of the second inning, the offense came alive with a powerful display. Marco C launched a solo home run to right field to open the scoring. Matthew N followed suit with his own solo shot to right field. Luke P then doubled, bringing home two runners. Luke S capped the inning with a groundout that plated another run, giving the Tigers a commanding early lead.

    Orioles Answer Back

    The HTB Orioles Black 12U showed resilience in the top of the third inning when Ali H crushed a solo home run to center field, putting the Orioles on the scoreboard and providing a spark for his team.

Despite the loss, the Orioles showed resilience and determination throughout the contest, which remained tied at three until Nassau Bokts broke through in the bottom of the fourth inning when an error allowed the winning run to score.

    Early Offense Sets the Tone

    HTB Orioles Black 12U wasted no time getting on the scoreboard. In the top of the first inning, Nick D crushed a triple that plated one run, giving the Orioles an early 1-0 advantage and setting an aggressive tone from the start.

    Nassau Bokts answered immediately in the bottom of the first when Rajesh A doubled to left field, knotting the game at one and serving notice that this would be a competitive matchup.

    Trading Punches

    The back-and-forth battle continued in the second inning. Liam F delivered a clutch single that pushed HTB Orioles Black 12U back in front, 2-1, as the Orioles threatened to build momentum.

    In a thrilling back-and-forth battle on Wednesday, North Shore Giants, Walker 9U held off a late rally by Connetquot Chiefs (Red) 9U to secure a hard-fought 7-6 victory. Despite watching their commanding 6-run lead shrink in the final innings, the Giants showed resilience and determination to close out the win.

    Early Deficit Turned Around

    Connetquot Chiefs (Red) 9U struck first in the opening frame, capitalizing on a defensive miscue to plate one run and take an early 1-0 lead.

    But the Giants answered emphatically in the bottom of the second inning, grabbing the lead they would never relinquish. Noah M delivered a key single down the left field line to bring home the tying run, followed immediately by William L’s RBI single to left field that gave North Shore their first advantage of the day at 2-1.

    Building the Lead

    The momentum continued in the bottom of the third when Colin H drove in another run with a productive ground out, extending the Giants’ lead to 4-1.

    Then came the decisive fourth inning—and Frankie Gianutsos made sure it was one to remember.
