Hello World!!
Kristi and I are very proud to announce that Philomena Aurelia Gianutsos was born on October 27, 2011 at 4:14 pm at 18 inches and 6 lbs, 4 ounces. She was born at North Shore LIJ, in Manhasset, NY.
Kristi thought that she would be quick to deliver, and was she ever right!! Within an hour or so of arriving at labor and delivery, she was in active labor and was soon in “booming labor”, (the anesthesiologist’s words) going from 3cm dilated at 100% effacement to 5cm to 10cm very rapidly.
Before we knew it, Philly was among us. She is sleeping in my arm as I type this… 🙂

She’s so beautiful. I’ve fallen in love. My precious little neice is lively and fiesty and vibrant and I’m so excited to get to know her. So ecstatic that I can’t even get to sleep. We love you 3 so much.
