NS Giants Mejia 8U had trouble keeping up with Hub 44 8U in a 14-4 loss on Saturday at ESM 3.
Hub 44 8U got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Colin C doubled, and Charlie R singled, each scoring one run.
Hub 44 8U extended their early lead with three runs in the bottom of the second thanks to RBI singles by Evan S, Sawyer P, and Wyatt W.
Hub 44 8U scored six runs on five hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Evan S hit a solo inside the park home run, Wyatt W hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs, Charlie R singled, scoring two runs, and Evan S singled, scoring one run.

Patrick E began the game for Hub 44 8U. The starting pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking four.
