Red Storm 9U opened the scoring in the bottom of the second thanks to two singles. Red Storm 9U first got on the board when Thomas H singled, scoring one run.

Red Storm 9U added two runs in the third. NS Giants Mejia 9U committed an error, making the score 5-0.

James G earned the win for Red Storm 9U. The hurler allowed seven hits and one run over five and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking one. Ryan M pitched three innings in relief for NS Giants Mejia 9U. The hurler gave up two hits and one run while, striking out one and walking two. Dylan J started on the hill for NS Giants Mejia 9U. The pitcher allowed one hit and one run over one inning, striking out none and walking one.

Frankie G stole two bases.

Rays – NS Majors Spring won big over Cardinals 14-7 on Saturday at North Shore – Double Day Field.

Rays – NS Majors Spring jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Michael V singled, scoring two runs, John G singled, scoring one run, Myles K drew a walk, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored one run.

Rays – NS Majors Spring scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the second inning. Logan K singled, scoring one run, Nicholas B singled, scoring two runs, Michael V singled, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored one run.

A walk by Jordan B extended the Rays – NS Majors Spring lead to 11-2 in the bottom of the third inning.

Cardinals scored five runs on four hits in the top of the fifth inning. Zack R tripled, scoring one run, Mikey M hit an inside the park home run, scoring three runs, and Jaxson R singled, scoring one run.

Nicholas B began the game for Rays – NS Majors Spring. The hurler allowed two hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out three and walking none. Nicholas L began the game for Cardinals. The starting pitcher gave up four hits and five runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two and walking two. Keegan J tossed one inning of scoreless ball for Rays – NS Majors Spring in relief. The hurler gave up zero hits, striking out three and walking one.

Rays – NS Majors Spring tallied 11 hits in the game. Michael V, Logan K, and John G each collected two hits for Rays – NS Majors Spring. Michael V, Nicholas B, and John G each drove in three runs for Rays – NS Majors Spring. Thomas F led Rays – NS Majors Spring with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Trevor F, Michael V, Nicholas B, John G, and Keegan J each stole multiple bases for Rays – NS Majors Spring. NS Giants Mejia 9U scored 10 runs in the first inning on the way to victory. an error scored two runs, PJ (Philip) R drew a walk, scoring one run, Leo B drew a walk, scoring one run, Zayn M drew a walk, scoring one run, Ryan M hit an inside the park grand slam, and Daniel S induced Donovan L to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

NS Giants Mejia 9U scored eight runs on three hits in the top of the third inning. Ethan M drew a walk, scoring one run, Donovan L drew a walk, scoring one run, PJ (Philip) R hit an inside the park grand slam, Frankie G hit a solo inside the park home run, and Dylan O doubled, scoring one run.

Donovan L stepped on the hill first for NS Giants Mejia 9U. The starter gave up zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out two and walking one. Myles H led things off on the hill for Team Steel 9U. The starting pitcher allowed zero hits and seven runs (zero earned) over one-third of an inning, striking out one and walking four. Matteo C threw one inning of no-run ball for NS Giants Mejia 9U in relief. The reliever allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking none.

Dylan O, PJ (Philip) R, Ryan M, and Frankie G each collected one hit for NS Giants Mejia 9U. PJ (Philip) R and Ryan M each drove in four runs for NS Giants Mejia 9U. NS Giants Mejia 9U had a strong eye at the plate, piling up 13 walks for the game. Zayn M and Ethan M led the team with three bases on balls each. NS Giants Mejia 9U were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Frankie G had the most chances in the field with six.

Brayden G went 1-for-1 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Brody G stole two bases.
