Phillies jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after S singled, scoring one run, T doubled, scoring two runs, Xavier was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Joe singled, scoring one run.

T led things off on the hill for Phillies. The pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out 11 and walking two.
