Yankees 2025 Minors Fall To Phillies After Surrendering Big First Inning

Phillies defeated Yankees 2025 Minors 6-0 on Tuesday at Wrigley thanks in part to five runs in the first inning.

Phillies jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after S singled, scoring one run, T doubled, scoring two runs, Xavier was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Joe singled, scoring one run.

Benjamin G started on the hill for Yankees 2025 Minors. The starting pitcher allowed five hits and five runs over two and one-third innings, striking out five and walking five. T led things off on the hill for Phillies. The pitcher surrendered one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out 11 and walking two.

Francis G led Yankees 2025 Minors with one hit in one at bat.

T drove the middle of the lineup, leading Phillies with two runs batted in. The pitcher went 1-for-2 on the day. M, Joe, S, James, and T each collected one hit for Phillies. Phillies had a strong eye at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. Phillies were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. T had the most chances in the field with one.

Yankees 2025 Minors will travel to Athletics for their next game on Sunday.
