Neither Team Pulls Away As NS Giants Mejia 8U And SWR PAL Wildcats 8U Tie

NS Giants Mejia 8U and SWR PAL Wildcats 8U tied 7-7 on Saturday at Eastport South Manor-ESM 3 (75′).

A single by Patrick M put SWR PAL Wildcats 8U on the board in the top of the first.

SWR PAL Wildcats 8U added one run in the second. Mason B singled, making the score 2-0.

Frankie G doubled, which helped NS Giants Mejia 8U tie the game at two in the bottom of the second.

NS Giants Mejia 8U captured the lead, 5-2, in the bottom of the third after Donovan L hit into a fielder’s choice, Chase P was struck by a pitch, and Thomas W grounded out, each scoring one run.

SWR PAL Wildcats 8U tied the game up in the top of the sixth thanks to three hit by pitches. SWR PAL Wildcats 8U tied the game at seven on a hit by a pitch.

Jordan Z stepped on the bump first for NS Giants Mejia 8U. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and two runs (one earned) over two innings, striking out four and walking one. Wyatt T led things off on the hill for SWR PAL Wildcats 8U. The starting pitcher allowed three hits and five runs (three earned) over two innings, striking out five and walking two.
