Frankie G Sparks EEBA 10U in High-Scoring Battle vs Chiefs 10U

Tuesday’s matchup had all the adrenaline of a playoff game as EEBA 10U traded punches with Chiefs 10U in a fast-paced, offense-first showdown. The bats roared from the start, and Frankie G set the tone with timely hitting and pressure on the basepaths in a 16-10 final.

Chiefs 10U jumped ahead 2-0 in the top of the first, capitalizing on an EEBA miscue and an AJ W triple to center. EEBA 10U answered with a six-run surge in the bottom half, flipping the game on five hits. Clayton A delivered the swing of the inning—a bases-clearing single that plated three and put EEBA up 6-2.

The momentum swung again in the second when Chiefs 10U pushed across five to edge ahead 7-6. EEBA punched right back in the home half: Jax T drew a walk, and Frankie G ripped a double down the left-field line to drive in a run. Lucas F worked another walk to keep the carousel turning, and Philip R’s RBI groundout capped the go-ahead rally. By inning’s end, EEBA had the lead again, 10-7.

Chiefs 10U mounted one last decisive response in the third, pushing across eight on three hits to move in front 15-10, then tacked on an insurance run later to set the final at 16-10. It was a night where the bats outpaced the gloves on both sides, and every at-bat mattered.

Frankie G was in the middle of the action all evening—finishing with two hits, sparking the second-inning rally with that run-scoring double, and turning up the heat on the bases with multiple steals. He teamed with Ryan C, Clayton A, and Philip R—each of whom also collected two hits—to keep pressure on the Chiefs throughout.

EEBA’s plate discipline stood out: Lucas F drew three walks, and the lineup totaled eight free passes. The team’s aggressiveness translated into a dozen stolen bases, with Frankie G, Lucas F, and Ryan C swiping multiple bags.

On the mound, Benjamin R battled through two innings, striking out three while allowing five hits and seven runs (six earned). For Chiefs 10U, Matthew S started and yielded six runs on five hits with three strikeouts in one inning, then did damage at the plate as well.

Final: Chiefs 10U 16, EEBA 10U 10. The scoreline may not have gone EEBA’s way, but the offense—fueled by Frankie G’s impact swings and relentless baserunning—showed plenty of fight and fire. On to the next one.
