Frankie Gianutsos Drives In Two, Sparks the Basepaths as Aviators Battle Eastern A’s10u 65’ 10U

Tuesday at Lasorda Legacy Park brought fast starts, pressure on the bases, and a lot of action. Eastern A’s10u 65’ 10U topped East End Aviators, 11-5, but Frankie Gianutsos put together a standout day at the heart of the Aviators’ lineup—driving in two, going 1-for-2, and turning up the heat with multiple stolen bases.

Eastern A’s10u 65’ 10U set the tone early, jumping ahead 3-0 in the top of the first. After a Griffin K walk, Luca F stole home, and Griffin K followed by swiping home as well, pushing across three quick runs. An error in the second stretched the lead to 6-0.

The A’s kept pressing in the third, plating five more on two hits: Yani K singled home one, Mikey P worked a bases-loaded walk, JJ L delivered a two-RBI single, and Brendan C drew another bases-loaded walk. That surge made it 11 for Eastern A’s10u 65’ 10U.

On the mound, #4 started for East End Aviators and struck out four over 2.1 innings, allowing two hits and nine runs (four earned) with four walks. Colin B and Santino R each appeared in relief for Eastern A’s10u 65’ 10U.
