Cardinals Walk-Off In Nail-Biter Against White Sox

Cardinals took Sunday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 10-9 walk-off victory over White Sox. The game was tied at nine in the bottom of the fourth when catcher’s interference scored one run.
Both teams had their chances in the game, but eventually Cardinals took the lead thanks to a catcher’s interference in the fourth inning.
Cardinals got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Antonio C was struck by a pitch, Ryan Z walked, and Hleb H grounded out, each scoring one run.
White Sox made the score 4-3 in the top of the second after Shane drew a walk, scoring one run, Jack drew a walk, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored two runs.
Cardinals captured the lead, 7-4, in the bottom of the second when Joshua R singled, scoring one run, Kaeden F singled, scoring one run, and Cameron K doubled, scoring two runs.
In the top of the third inning, White Sox went back into the lead after Jaeger doubled, JoJo walked, Cam singled, and Jordon stole home, each scoring one run.
Cardinals jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the third inning after Ryan Z was struck by a pitch, and John G stole home, each scoring one run.
Anthony walked, which helped White Sox tie the game at nine in the top of the fourth.
John G earned the win for Cardinals. The pitcher allowed one hit and one run over one-third of an inning, striking out one and walking one. Will took the loss for White Sox. The hurler went one inning, giving up two runs (one earned) on zero hits, striking out two and walking four. Antonio C led things off on the bump for Cardinals. The hurler gave up zero hits and four runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking six. Cameron K appeared in relief for Cardinals.
Kaeden F went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Leadoff hitter Joshua R led Cardinals with two hits in two at bats. Cardinals had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating nine walks for the game. James V and Samuel Z led the team with two free passes each. Joshua R, James V, Samuel Z, Ryan Z, Antonio C, and John G each stole multiple bases for Cardinals. Cardinals ran wild on the base paths, amassing 24 stolen bases for the game.
Cam, Ryan, and Jaeger each collected one hit for White Sox. Cam, Jaeger, and JoJo each drove in one run for White Sox. Anthony paced White Sox with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating 11 walks for the game. Anthony, Cam, Shane, Will, Ryan, and David each stole multiple bases for White Sox. White Sox stole 20 bases in the game.
