Nicholas’s Clutch Hitting Propels Rays – NS Majors Spring To Victory Over Astros Majors

Nicholas B drove in four runs on two hits to lead Rays – NS Majors Spring past Astros Majors 6-1 on Tuesday at North Shore – Double Day Field. Nicholas B tripled in the first inning, scoring two runs, and doubled in the third inning, scoring two.

Nicholas B struck out 10 batters on the day. The hurler also allowed two hits and zero runs over three and two-thirds innings while walking one.

Rays – NS Majors Spring jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Nicholas B tripled, scoring two runs, and Michael V singled, scoring one run.

A double by Nicholas B, and a steal of home by Nicholas B helped Rays – NS Majors Spring extend their early lead in the third.

Noah began the game for Astros Majors. The starter surrendered two hits and three runs over two-thirds of an inning, striking out one and walking three. Thomas F appeared in relief for Rays – NS Majors Spring.
