Bellport Blue Claws 9U defeated NS Giants Mejia 9U 9-1 on Tuesday thanks in part to six runs in the first inning.

Bellport Blue Claws 9U got on the board in the top of the first inning after Gavin V walked, Louis M walked, Michael M walked, Chase M walked, Zachary C walked, and Colin E grounded out, each scoring one run.

Bellport Blue Claws 9U extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI errors by Louis M and Michael M.

Dylan J pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for NS Giants Mejia 9U. The pitcher gave up one hit and three runs (one earned) while, striking out four and walking three.
