Rays – NS Majors Spring had trouble keeping up with Yankees in an 18-0 loss on Thursday at North Shore – Double Day Field.

NS Giants Mejia 9U Stymied By Middle Country Mustangs
NS Giants Mejia 9U had trouble keeping up with Middle Country Mustangs in a 10-4 loss on Thursday at Field 7.
Middle Country Mustangs were the first to get on the board in the first when Andru K grounded out, scoring one run.
Middle Country Mustangs added one run in the second. Carter S walked, making the score 2-0.
Middle Country Mustangs added one run in the third after Andru K tripled to center field on an 0-2 count.
Dylan J stepped on the mound first for NS Giants Mejia 9U. The starter allowed one hit and one run (zero earned) over one inning, striking out one and walking none. Avery S led things off on the mound for Middle Country Mustangs. The starting pitcher allowed one hit and three runs over three innings, striking out two and walking three.
Matteo C drove the middle of the lineup, leading NS Giants Mejia 9U with two runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Donovan L, Thomas W, and Matteo C each collected one hit for NS Giants Mejia 9U.
Andru K and Kenny B each collected two hits for Middle Country Mustangs. Kenny B and Bryce C each drove in one run for Middle Country Mustangs.
