    Strong Hitting Not Enough As Rays – NS Majors Spring Falls To NSLL Majors Mets

    Even though Rays – NS Majors Spring collected nine hits to NSLL Majors Mets’s four, they still fell 12-7 on Saturday at North Shore – Double Day Field. Michael V and Karl B each collected two hits for Rays – NS Majors Spring.

    NSLL Majors Mets got on the board in the top of the first inning after Ryan V drew a walk, scoring one run, Gio Z singled, scoring two runs, and a steal of home scored two runs.

    NSLL Majors Mets added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Mallack W singled down the left field line, Rays – NS Majors Spring committed an error, Rays – NS Majors Spring dropped a third strike, Gavin Q tripled down the left field line, and Gavin Q stole home, each scoring one run.

    Michael V stepped on the hill first for Rays – NS Majors Spring. The starter gave up one hit and five runs (four earned) over two-thirds of an inning, striking out three and walking four. Myles K took the loss for Rays – NS Majors Spring. The reliever went one and one-third innings, surrendering five runs (zero earned) on two hits, striking out four and walking none. Gavin Q started on the hill for NSLL Majors Mets. The hurler gave up three hits and three runs over three innings, striking out four and walking five.

    Michael V drove the middle of the lineup, leading Rays – NS Majors Spring with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Rays – NS Majors Spring had a strong eye at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game. Trevor F and Logan K led the team with two bases on balls each. Trevor F, Michael V, and Logan K each stole multiple bases for Rays – NS Majors Spring. Rays – NS Majors Spring ran wild on the base paths, amassing 12 stolen bases for the game.

    Gio Z went 2-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Ryan V stole three bases. NSLL Majors Mets ran wild on the base paths, collecting seven stolen bases for the game.

    Yankees 2025 Minors Walk-Off In Nail-Biter Against Astros (Frankie Game Winning Hit)

    It came down to the wire on Saturday at Wrigley, as Yankees 2025 Minors grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 10-9, over Astros. The game was tied at nine in the bottom of the fourth when Francis G singled, scoring one run.

    Ryan C drove in four runners in the win. The right-handed hitter went 3-3 on the day.

    Astros got on the board in the top of the first inning after Bryce drew a walk, scoring one run, and Matthew singled, scoring two runs.

    Yankees 2025 Minors flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs on two hits to take the lead, 5-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Ryan C that drove in one.

    Yankees 2025 Minors added two runs in the second after Ryan C tripled.

    Astros captured the lead, 8-7, in the top of the third after C walked, Brayden walked, Ryan K walked, Sofia grounded out, and Kolby walked, each scoring one run.

    Yankees 2025 Minors jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Lorenzo B tripled, Ryan C doubled, and Francis G singled, each scoring one run.

    Francis G stepped on the hill first for Yankees 2025 Minors. The starter gave up one hit and three runs over one inning, striking out two and walking four. Ryan C, Lorenzo B, Vincent C, and Michael C each appeared in relief for Yankees 2025 Minors.

    Ryan C and Vincent C each collected three hits for Yankees 2025 Minors. Lorenzo B collected two hits for Yankees 2025 Minors in two at bats. Landon F paced Yankees 2025 Minors with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up eight walks for the game. Vincent C stole four bases. Yankees 2025 Minors ran wild on the base paths, piling up nine stolen bases for the game.

    Matthew provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Astros with three runs batted in. Matthew went 1-for-1 on the day. Bryce and Matthew were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for Astros while hitting back-to-back. Alex paced Astros with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting 16 walks for the game.
